Tori, tell us how you first met? Who, what, when, where, why? Give us the dirty details.
We originally met through a mutual friend at a party, I don’t remember but this is what Thomas tells me. We reconnected online and thanks again to our mutual connections started talking. We went on a trail walk for our first date and it was beautiful and perfect…except for the ticks!
Thomas, when did you know Tori was the one? Was there something she did?
Thomas – when you go on a walk that ends in ticks and she still had fun and wanted a second date I was done!
Ticks…. yeah, I can’t even imagine, what a tale!
Tori – after about 3 weeks after visiting his family. He had already met my parents (in a hospital room) and showed a ton of respect. Seeing him with his family showed me more of the family guy that he is and just reiterated what I knew was quickly coming.
Tell us about the proposal, did you see it coming, how did you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?
Thomas planned it for months, ring shopping in different countries and states. I knew it was coming but not when or any specifics.
We went camping for Thomas’s birthday. Got the campsite all set and Thomas wanted to go down to the water to find a special rock (yes, I was oblivious to this)! We found a great spot and started skipping rocks. I turned around after a perfect skip to find him on one knee asking for one more gift of being his wife.
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
Tori – His hugs!! I love his patience and loving/trusting nature. He has an uncanny ability to make me feel immediately at ease no matter what.
Thomas – dat booty…Actual answer – she brings planning to my chaos and has the unusual ability to make me try new things.
